An old VHS from 2003 about the most expensive car sold at auction up to that date. At RM Auctions in Monterey, CA on August 16, 2002 a 1962 Ferrari Testarossa sold for $6,490,000. This was chassis # 808, a factory racer in which Phil Hill drove to victory in 1962 Le Mans. It was nice to see that the winning bidder actually believes in using his cars.
