TRUE SKOOL TV's video: Congratulations - We are a 2020 ArchiShorts award winner

Congratulations True Skool film crew team! Out of 36 submissions to this year's Archi-Short film contest, your film "Design Awareness" is being awarded an Honourable Mention in the youth category. The jury was moved and inspired by the passion and joyful commitment to collaborative design as a playful way to build skills and strengthen community. True Skool looks like an excellent institution, perhaps similar to some much loved organizations we have here in Winnipeg, like ArtCity, and Graffiti Gallery Arts, who support the dreams of young people eager to participate in shaping the best possible world. Attached is a digital version of your Archi-Shorts award certificate. A physical certificate will be mailed to you (soon!), along with a special book prize that seemed to me to appropriate. The book, by Wes Janz, is called Leftover Rightunder: Finding Architectural Potential in Found Materials. (Please confirm that your mailing address, below, is correct and complete). Unfortunately, we have had to reschedule our annual Architecture + Design Film Festival for Sept. 16 - 20, 2020, and the ArchiShorts Screening & Award Ceremony will take place at noon on Saturday, Sept. 19. This is our current optimistic plan! Assuming a public event will be possible eventually, your film will be screened along with the other top 20 films submitted to this year's contest! We do not expect TrueSkool filmmakers to attend the event in Winnipeg, but we are very happy to include your contribution, along with others we've received from across Canada, and around the world.
