Oofta, the amount of fail in this is grand! However, we DO complete all the events necessary to obtain pure white character tendency to receive the Ally's Ring from the monumental. In this video: - We complete the world 5 black world tendency events. - We destroy the 5-2 boss. - We pick up two weapons; one from 5-1, one from 5-2. - SPEAK TO SELEN VINLAND IN THE SWAMP DURING PURE WHITE WORLD TENDENCY TO INITIATE THE EVENT NECESSARY. - We cheese Maiden Astraea with the Clever Rat's Ring. - We die and die and die and die and finally win against BP Garl Vinland (This was painful) - Speak with Selen again to complete the white tendency events. - Complete world 1 black world tendency events. - Obtain the Ally's Ring from The Monumental in the Nexus for achieving pure white character tendency! The fight with BP Garl was difficult for me due to parry timing. I started the fight with my moon winged spear, then remembered his armor is absurdly OP against anything magic, so it didn't do too well. After dying about 349 times, I went and had my blueblood sword made up. After dying another 871 times, I finally got the timing down enough to defeat the BP and call it a day. I return to Selen for my reward, and I begin the world 1 tendency events (Black only for this video). I only managed to die against Miralda once before soul remains / backstabbing her to death, then ran to 1-3 to take out the colorless demon. Once that was complete, it was time to go and claim my reward with the monumental; a ring that makes you more powerful as a summoned ally. IN ORDER TO GET THE FOE'S RING: - Go and kill NPC merchants in each level to bring your character tendency to black. It darkens pretty quickly. IF you destroy all five merchants and your character tendency isn't all black yet, take out one or two of the NON-NAMED NPC's in the Nexus. Mephistopheles will appear on the second floor of the Nexus. Do her bidding a few times (you'll kill people like Sage Freke, Saint Urbain, etc), and she'll try to kill you. Defeat her. Voila. Foe's Ring. This is where I will stop the walkthrough. The purpose of it has been fulfilled, and the outline to get the Foe's ring is included in this description.
