However, these trains will run for only short period of time. If the response remains good, then the extension of few trains is definitely on the cards. Before lockdown, this train used to run as 12323/24 Howrah-Anand Vihar Terminal-Howrah SF Express but now it is extended upto Barmer and will permanently run with old train number once the complete service is restored by Indian Railways. Due to this extension, Kolkata gets another connection with Rajasthan with a different route. This special train will run from 06 Nov 2020 to 29 Nov 2020. This train consists 1HA, 2 2A, 5 3A, 9 SL, 1 PC and 2 2S coaches followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "Superfast" class train and the rake belongs to Eastern Railways (ER) and primary maintenance is done at Howrah (HWH). The route of this train is via BWN(Chord)-DGR-ASN-DHN-GMO-GAYA-DDU-PRYJ-CNB-ALJN-GZB-DLI-RE-SDLP-CUR-RTGH-DIA-JU-SMR. The loco link is HWH WAP-7 from Howrah to Old Delhi and TKD/IZN/BGKT WDP-4D from Old Delhi to Barmer. Total journey distance is 2278 Kms and is covered in 36:30 hrs @62 Kmph avg. It departs from HWH every Friday @18:50 hrs and reaches SDAH @07:20 hrs on Sunday. This train has total 19 halts in the complete journey.
