Upon restoration post lockdown, it became instant hit with hardly any seats vacant. This train is the lifeline for many passengers of small towns where other superfast trains do not stop. This train was restored with LHB coaches replacing old ICF coaches followed by immediate approval to run in 130 Kmph enroute. This train consists 1 1A, 2 2A, 4 3A, 11 SL, 2 2S, 1 PC coach followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "Superfast" class train and the rake belongs to South Eastern Railways (SER) and primary maintenance is done at Santragachi (SRC). The route of this train is via SRC-KGP-TATA-CKP-ROU-JSG-RIG-BSP-R-DURG-RJN-G-NGP-BD-AK-BSL-JL-MMR-NK-IGP-KYN-DR. The loco link is SRC WAP-7 from end to end. Total journey distance is 1963 Kms and is covered in 32:35 hrs @60 Kmph avg. It departs from HWH daily @19:50 hrs and reaches CSMT @04:25 hrs on the 3rd day.
