Patronage is very high even in this COVID conditions. Numerous trains have been introduced in due course but rush is ever increasing. This special train will run from 24 Oct 2020 to 29 Sep 2021. It will be surely extended again for indefinite period of time as don earlier. This train consists 1 2A, 4 3A, 12 SL, 1 PC and 2 2S coaches followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "Superfast" class train and the rake belongs to South Eastern Railways (SER) and primary maintenance is done at Santragachi (SRC). The route of this train is via KJM-JTJ-KPD-TPTY-RU-GDR-NLR-BZA-RJY-SLO-VSKP-VZM-BAM-KUR-BBS-CTC-BHC-BLS-KGP-SRC. The loco link is RPM/LGD WAP-7 from Yesvantpur to Visakhapatnam and SRC WAP-7 from Visakhapatnam to Howrah. Total journey distance is 1959 Kms and is covered in 33:35 hrs @58 Kmph avg. It departs from YPR daily @10:15 hrs and reaches HWH @19:50 hrs on the next day. This train has total 32 halts in the complete journey. Loco reversal takes place at Visakhapatnam (VSKP).
