However, these trains will run for only couple of months. If the response remains good, then the extension of few trains is definitely on the cards. This train proved to be the only day train to run between Kolkata and Muzaffarpur post lockdown which is beneficial for the passengers as other trains either reach Muzaffarpur post midnight or tickets are hardly available. This special train will run from 25 Nov 2020 to 29 Dec 2020. This train consists 20 2S coaches followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "Mail/Express" class train and the rake belongs to East Central Railways (NR) and primary maintenance is done at Muzaffarpur (MFP). The route of this train is via BWN(Chord)-DGR-ASN-CRJ-MDP-JSME-JAJ-KIUL-BJU-SPJ. The loco link is HWH WAP-7 from end to end. Total journey distance is 549 Kms and is covered in 11:45 hrs @47 Kmph avg. It departs from HWH every Wed @11:05 hrs and reaches MFP @22:50 hrs on the same day. This train has total 10 halts in the complete journey.
