This AC Express was announced to be introduced as a permanent train but till date it is used as a special train whenever demand in the sector is high. It has RSA with 12259/60 Sealdah-Bikaner-Sealdah AC Duronto Express. This train consists 1 1A, 4 2A, 12 3A and 1 PC followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "AC Express" class train and the rake belongs to Eastern Railways (ER) and primary maintenance is done at Sealdah (SDAH). The route of this train is via NH-BDC-NDAE-KWAE-AZ-JRLE-NFK-MLDT-BOE-KNE-NJP-JPE-DQG-FLK-NCB-NOQ-NBQ-GLPT. The loco link is HWH WAP-7 from Sealdah to New Bongaigaon and SGUJ WDP-4/4D from New Bongaigaon to Kamakhya. Total journey distance is 1003 Kms and is covered in 17:55 hrs @56 Kmph avg.
