However, these trains will run for only couple of months. If the response remains good, then the extension of few trains is definitely on the cards. This train came as a relief for the passengers towards Rajasthan as Sealdah - Ajmer Festival Special has been cancelled till 01 Feb 2021. This special train will run till 28 Jan 2021. This train consists 1 2A, 4 3A, 7 SL and 4 2S coaches followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "Mail/Express" class train and the rake belongs to North Western Railways (NWR) and primary maintenance is done at Ajmer (AII). The route of this train is via NH-BDC-BWN-DGR-ASN-DHN-CRP-BRKA-DTO-GHD-CPU-SGRL-KMZ-SGO-MAKR-ASKN-GUNA-KOTA-CNA-BHL-AII. The loco link is HWH/SDAH WAP-7 from Kolkata to Barkakana and ABR WDM-2A/3A from Barkakana to Madar. Total journey distance is 1982 Kms and is covered in 41:55 hrs @47 Kmph avg. It departs from KOAA every Thursday @11:25 hrs and reaches MDJN @05:00 hrs on Saturday. This train has total 27 halts in the complete journey.
