It has a different route as compared to other trains. It completely covers Murshidabad district of West Bengal while other trains goes via Purba Barddhaman and Birbhum districts (except Kamrup Express). This train was inaugurated on 01 Jul 1992. This train consists 1 2A, 3 3A, 8 SL and 4 GS followed by 2 SLR coaches. This is a "Mail/Express" class train and the rake belongs to Eastern Railways (ER). Primary maintenance is done at Sealdah (SDAH). The route of this train is via DDJ-NH-BDC-ABKA-NDAE-KWAE-KGLE-AZ-JRLE-NFK-MLDT-BOE-KNE-AUB-NJP-JPE-DQG-FLK-NCB. The loco link is HWH WAP-4 or SDAH WAP-7 from end to end. Total journey distance is 718 Kms and is covered in 17:15 hrs @42 Kmph avg. It departs from SDAH daily @14:00 hrs and reaches NOQ @07:15 hrs on the next day. This train has total 26 halts in the complete journey.
