However, these trains will run for only couple of months. If the response remains good, then the extension of few trains is definitely on the cards. It is the only train which connects Ajmer to Kolkata post COVID-19 lockdown and the rake has been upgraded with LHB coaches replacing ICF coaches. This special train will run from 20 Oct 2020 to 30 Nov 2020. This train consists 2 2A, 6 3A, 7 SL and 4 2S coaches followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "Superfast" class train and the rake belongs to North Western Railways (NWR) and primary maintenance is done at Ajmer (AII). The route of this train is via KSG-JP-BTE-AH-AF-TDL-CNB-PRYJ-DDU-SSM-GAYA-PNME-DHN-ASN-BWN(Chord). The loco link is BGKT WDP-4/4B/4D from Ajmer to Agra Fort and HWH WAP-7 from Agra Fort to Sealdah. Total journey distance is 1647 Kms and is covered in27:15 hrs @60 Kmph avg. It departs from AII daily @12:45 hrs and reaches SDAH @16:00 hrs on the next day. This train has total 20 halts in the complete journey.
