These soft and fluffy Multi-Seed Burger Buns are loaded with a variety of seeds !! And I’ve also added some whole wheat flour to boost up the nutrition even more, so apart from being tasty these burger buns can be wholesome and healthy as well !! INGREDIENTS *1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour/Maida/ मैदा *1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour/ गेहूँ आटा *1 tbsp Flaxseeds/ अलसी *1 tbsp Sesame seeds/ तिल *1 tbsp Pumpkin seeds/ कद्दू बीज *1 tbsp Chia seeds/ चिया बीज *2 tbsp Sugar/ चीनी for the dough *3 tbsp Oil/ तेल *1/2 tsp Salt/ नमक *1/3 cup Water/ पानी *1/2 cup Milk ( I’m using soya milk but it can be replaced with any other plant based or regular dairy milk ) *2 tsp Active Dry Yeast *1 tbsp Sugar for the yeast *some extra Milk for milk wash and some more Seeds for toppings INSTRUCTIONS 1- Heat up milk in a medium heated saucepan until it’s lukewarm. Turn off the heat and add sugar followed by yeast ( before adding the yeast, make sure the milk is not hot, it is supposed to be moderately warm or the yeast won’t be activated ). Give a quick mix, and keep it aside to rest for 10 minutes until the yeast gets activated and this mixture turns foamy and bubbly. 2- Meanwhile combine flours, seeds, sugar, salt and oil in a large bowl. Add in the activated yeast and give a mix using your hand. Add water and form a dough. Transfer the dough on any flat surface and knead the dough for 8-10 minutes. Make a ball out of it and place the dough ball in a large bowl. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in size. 3- Once it’s risen, transfer the dough on a flat surface and make a log out of it. Now using a knife divide the dough in 6 equal parts. Take each part and shape them buns. Arrange the buns on a parchment paper lined baking tray. Cover the tray with a kitchen towel and let them rest for 30-40 minutes or until they double in size. 4- Apply some milk on each buns so they can get a nice golden colour when they bake. Top them up with seeds and bake the buns in a preheated oven at 200°C/ 400°F for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool for sometime and enjoy !!
