These fiber & protein rich Energy Balls/ Laddu are loaded with nuts, seeds and oats and the antioxidant in dark chocolate not only amp up the nutrition but makes these energy bites such a treat that is definitely hard to resist !!
INSTRUCTIONS
*1/2 cup Oats ( rolled/ quick )/ ओट्स
*1/4 cup unsweetened Cocoa Powder/ कोको पाउडर
*1/3 cup Almonds/ बादाम
*1/3 cup Cashew ( whole/ broken )/ काजू
*1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds/ कद्दू बीज
*2 tbsp Sesame Seeds/ तिल
*1 tbsp Flaxseeds/ अलसी
*1/4 tsp Salt/ नमक
*1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder/ दालचीनी पाउडर
*1 cup seedless Dates / खजूर
*1/4 cup Raisins/ किसमिस
INSTRUCTIONS
1- On a low-medium heated pan, add almonds and roast them for 2-3 minutes. ( we add almonds first as they take more time to roast then other seeds and nuts ).
2- Now add cashews, pumpkin, sesame ( white and black both work ) and flaxseeds, and roast for around 2 minutes. Add in the oats and roast for 1 more minute. Turn off the heat and allow this mixture to cool completely.
3- Add the mixture into the food processor or blender and blend well. ( it doesn’t need to be a fine powder, coarse mixture would work just well ).
4- Now add raisins ( black and golden both work), cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, salt and dates. Give a good blend until everything is well combined.
3- Transfer this mixture in a bowl and start making the ladoos ! Store them in an airtight container and enjoy !!
