On Sunday, at the Mahatma Gandhi Statue on MG Road in Secunderabad, Chief Minister Shri KCR and Municipal Minister Shri KTR Garr anointed the picture maps on the pay hike for sanitation workers. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Shri Talsani Srinivas Yadav said that the government was happy to see a huge increase in wages in recognition of the services of sanitation workers. GHMC Sanitation was also appreciated for its services during the lockdown. After the anointing the minister fed sweets to the sanitation workers. Workers fired fireworks and cheered.
