For almost 4 years now, Jordan and I have been driving all over Mexico together, but today is my first solo trip from Queretaro. Is it safe?? Since I'm used to having a travel buddy with me, it was super nerve-wracking to set off solo. Some people say that it's not safe for females to travel alone in Mexico. Is that true? Whether I liked it or not, I had to find out. Also...surprise! I made my way to Ajijic, Jalisco to celebrate the new year with some friends. You might remember that we lived here for about 4 months in 2018. It was amazing to be back at Lake Chapala again after 3 years away. So much has changed! And yet, the magic of Ajijic is alive and well. I forgot how much I loved the culture of Jalisco!
