Let’s not be biased! A new milestone in the Slovene music scene!” Miha Zupan is a Slovene basketball player who was born deaf. He is used to the challenges that many people seem impossible. Among his many achievements was becoming a super finalist of a dance show, which was broadcasted on one of the Slovene's prime televisions. The winner of that dance show was a highly recognizable and very popular Slovene singer Tanja Žagar. That is where Miha and Tanja were destined to meet. As it turned out, for the greater good. The two worlds bumped into each other. The world of music… and the world of silence… Tanja Žagar’s old wish was starting to come true. With professional standard and Latin dancers that she has met on the dance show, she started to collaborate and manage to prepare a music spectacle Slovenia has never seen before. She filled up a classic Tabor hall in Maribor and another famous entertainment center in Ljubljana, the Tivoli hall. Dance and music are universal. They connect people. All the people. The moment Tanja truly realized it, she decided that this could be an opportunity for the people with hearing loss. Tanja Žagar:“I am happy we did something beautiful. We didn’t make differences between people and provide them with an equal opportunity!” First time in the history of Slovene concerts the people with hearing loss were able to enjoy the show due to the usage of audio induction loops and two sign language interpreters who were interpreting songs simultaneously to a Slovene sign language. Miha Zupan: “I am particularly happy that all the people started opening their hearts and started understanding the world of the people with a hearing loss, sparking a true interaction between the two worlds.” Miha Zupan: “I am very proud that others can see what a person with a disability can achieve. And I don’t think just about the dance but in general.
