In search of pre-1947 Hindu habitats in this village along the LOC. We came across an old Baawali (stoned water storage facility) before taking in precious knowledge of life pre-1947 from 90 year old Khalil Sahaab. In between 2 funerals in this village, we managed to identify a few localities where the Hindu community resided before 1947 and also noted a Pakistani bunker - nestled just a few metres away - from where local villages strained to live a normal life.
