Tanveer Ahmed's video: On The Trail of Lake Narda Devi - Sharda - AJK - 24 07 2019

We began our journey from just under 7,000 feet at Kel Seri, just a few kilometres north of Sharda in the afternoon of the 22nd of July 2019. Here's a link to our ascent: https://www.facebook.com/sahaafi/posts/10157509358277210 It took us about 36 hours to reach the lake at c. 15,000 feet although my colleague felt it could have been about 17,000 feet. The video footage here begins on the morning of the 23rd of July where we had camped for the night with some very hospitable locals at c. 9 to 10,000 feet. The summer also beckons them and their livestock to climb up from the meadows below. It took almost another 36 hours to descend down to 7,000 feet again but it was a very fulfilling experience.
