There is both low and high cortisol that can happen in the morning or at night depending on your particular situation. Your adrenal fatigue may be different and you may need different supplements, a different dosage, or different combination/scheduling of dosages or you could be adversely affected. This is just what works for me and is based on my history of being diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue by an MD. From what I have heard (but haven't personally experienced), an endocrinologist can do a 24 hour urine test, a 24 hour saliva test, and an ACTH Stimulation test over the standard 8am blood test (basal cortisol).
