When Taylor’s Insights team began a deep dive into how Major League Baseball athletes, we expected to find that the league’s social media presence continued to lag behind others. Despite the MLB’s lack of social engagement in recent years, we found this trend is beginning to change. Leading the charge behind this rise of baseball fan engagement on social are a wave of charismatic, social savvy Latin American ball players. These Spanish-speaking superstars engage their fans through language, culture, philanthropy, and sportsmanship.
