How To Increase Internet Speed in Windows? - This video will demonstrate you how to boost internet speed in your windows laptop by doing some simple tweaks. You will see “Run” dialog. • Type cmd and click enter. • Right click on cmd. • Select run as administration. You will see Command prompt window with admin privileges. • Now type following commands in cmd window. • Netsh int tcp show global and press enter. • Netsh int tcp set chimney=enabled and press enter. • Netsh int tcp set global autotuning=normal and press enter. • Netsh int set global congestionprovider=ctcp and press enter. Step 2: Optimize your computer's bandwidth settings by using the Windows Group Policy Editor (GPedit). Open CMD and Type "gpedit.msc" and press "enter." On the left side of the screen, select computer configuration and double click on "administrative templates" and select "network." Next, click on "QoS packet scheduler" and then click on "limit reservable bandwidth." Next, change the options to "enabled" and change the bandwidth limit to zero percent. Now go to limit outstanding packets and disable it. This will increase your Internet speed by 20 percent. Step 3: Open CMD and type "%temp%". From there, delete all the temporary files. Step 4: Open CMD and type "regedit" and hit enter. Double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Go to System and then CurrentControlSET and then services. Now move down to the folder Tcpip and double click on "ServiceProvider." Now set DnsPriority to 7, HostsPriority to 6, LocalPriority to 5, NetbtPriority to 8 and close the window. Step 5: Open the command prompt, type "regsvr32 actxprxy" and press "enter." This will increase the speed of Internet Explorer by about 10 percent. That's it.
