TechHut's video: UNRAID - How to Shrink an Array and Create a Cache Pool

@UNRAID - How to Shrink an Array and Create a Cache Pool
In my last UNRAID video I made some clear mistakes. It's about time we fix them. This will include shrinking my array so I can remove a drive. Upgrading the disk and then creating a new cache pool. MOVESPEED SSD: https://amzn.to/45f8okf 1. Backup all the data in the share/drive I was removing. You technically could change the disks the share uses and then use the mover, but I only had a few gigs worth of docker config files. Stopped all docker containers and turned off auto-start. 2. Followed the 'The "Remove Drives Then Rebuild Parity" Method' here: https://docs.unraid.net/legacy/FAQ/shrink-array/ 3. Upgraded NVME and setup as a single Cache Pool. https://docs.unraid.net/legacy/FAQ/cache-disk 4. Made my appdata share only use the new Cache pool and uploaded my previously backed up docker configuration files. 5. Manually edited each docker container with the default appdata directory for configurations. 👏 SUPPORT TECHHUT TECHHUT MEMBER: https://bit.ly/techhut-join DONATE PAYPAL: https://bit.ly/paypal-techhut $100 LINODE CREDIT: https://bit.ly/linode-techhut $5 PBCWAY CREDIT: https://bit.ly/pbcway5 🏆 FOLOW TECHHUT NEWSLETTER: https://bit.ly/techhut-join JOIN DISCORD: https://bit.ly/discord-techhut TWITTER: https://bit.ly/twitter-techhut MASTODON: https://bit.ly/mastodon-techhut INSTAGRAM: https://bit.ly/personal-insta 📷 MY GEAR (PAID LINKS) ASUS ROG M16: https://amzn.to/3t8Xgpo DeepCool MATREXX 40: https://amzn.to/3q3K8Qn AMD 3700x: https://amzn.to/31AKX9N ASRock B550M: https://amzn.to/3qeymTv G.Skill Trident Z Neo: https://amzn.to/3JRbeSF Radeon RX 580: https://amzn.to/3n7Ax9g Cannon M50: https://amzn.to/3xLfhuA 00:00 - Introduction 01:39 - Shrink Array 04:20 - Upgrading SSD 06:00 - Cache Pool 07:34 - Appdata Cache 09:05 - Fixing Docker Configs 11:03 - Thank you!
