Sardaar Gabbar Singh is an upcoming Telugu action film directed by K. S. Ravindra. Produced by Pawan Kalyan and Sharath Marar jointly under their banners Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and Northstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in association with Eros International, the film is the sequel of the 2012 Telugu film Gabbar Singh. Besides penning the film's story and screenplay, Kalyan plays the protagonist of the film. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead and Sharad Kelkar plays the antagonist, marking his Telugu debut. Devi Sri Prasad composed the score and Arthur A. Wilson was its cinematographer. Initially titled Gabbar Singh 2, the film's production began on 21 February 2014 in Hyderabad with Sampath Nandi directing the film. He was later replaced by Ravindra after which the principal photography began on 29 May 2015 at Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is scheduled for a worldwide release on 8 April 2016 along with a Hindi dubbed version of the same name. 'Konidela Kalyan Babu' (born on 2 September 1971) better known by his stage name Pawan Kalyan, is an Indian film actor, producer, martial artist, director, screenwriter, stunt coordinator, writer, and politician.[3] His film works are predominantly in Telugu cinema and is the younger brother of actor turned politician Chiranjeevi. Kalyan made his acting debut in 1996 Telugu film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. In 1998, he starred in Tholi Prema which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for that year. In 2015, he enacted Lord Krishna in the sleeper hit Gopala Gopala. He is known for his works in films Gokulamlo Seetha, Suswagatham, Thammudu, Badri, Kushi, Jalsa, Gabbar Singh for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu,and Attarintiki Daredi which became the highest grossing Telugu film of all time.He was listed 26th in the Forbes India list of top 100 Celebrities of 2013.As of 2014, he holds a net worth of ₹185 million (US$2.7 million) He produces films under the banners Anjana Productions and Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. South Indian Super star Rajinikanth predicted that Pawan kalyan will be the next super star in year 2008 it self. In March 2014, he ventured into politics, founding the Jana Sena Party.During that period, Pawan Kalyan was listed by google as the most searched Indian celebrity politician on Google search.
