Tenma's video: YGOPro Providence V - Aeternum

Friendship ended with Crystal Wing. Now Borreload Savage Dragon is my best friend. So, Providence. What is there to say about this that I haven't already said? First things first, this is the strongest version of Providence by far. It's stronger than Providence III, and leagues above TCG Providence IV at its prime. Though the deck is still horrendously weak to all forms of disruption. The World Chalice engine is still here. Still fits really nicely into the deck, and enables insane plays. I've experimented with a Sky Striker engine, but I didn't find it very strong in this deck, unfortunately. Cutting the Sky Strikers from the final version of the deck let me put Junk Synchron back in. It's been a while, old friend! The Shaddolls also make their entrance in this version! They provide a good mix of offense and defense, and Shaddoll Fusion being a one-card play lets it fit really nicely into combos, especially as a finisher. You can even run Winda to turn it into a one-card Yazi! Very nice. Aside from that, the Link Monster lineup has been updated since last Providence appeared - from all the way back in January 2018. Lots of new Links have come out. Needlefiber is stupid, Unicorn is great, and Borrelsword is also stupid. I'll be testing Darkfluid at some point, too, which seems like it'll fit really nicely into this deck. Lastly, Rituals have been made of lower focus. I know that's weird to say because it's literally still running the same ratios as before, but trust me when I say this, every other aspect of the deck has been buffed to the point where Rituals got left in the dust. They're still great, but I see myself summoning Tarotrei less and less. She still obviously has a place in the deck, especially with Shaddolls entering the fray, but she's lacking the spark that she used to have here. As usual, Providence is one of the only decks that I can consider fun for me to play. It's probably not fun for the opponent, what with the borderline masturbatory OTKs it can pull, but coming back into this game from over a year-long hiatus, I've found myself really enjoying it! By the way, Providence is borderline unplayable in TCG right now, hence no TCG deck list. You're free to try, but it's an underpowered husk of former greatness. You've been warned.
