@Tesla Model 3: All Problems I Had After Driving Over 35,000 Miles
Here are 15 problems I had with my Tesla Model 3 after driving over 35,000 miles. These are all the major issues that had to be fixed or are currently going on. Keep in mind that these issues are to MY situation and I drive my car harder than the average driver. Let me know what you think! 1. (1:36) AC Smells Terrible Tesla must have some poor design with their AC because there seems to be some type of build up some kind of mold/mildew in the piping. Regular AC filter replacement required. 2. (2:09) Moisture in Taillight Mine happened to be the taillight right by the charge port door. This issue seemed to be common in other 2018 Model 3s but was easily replaced under warranty. 3. (2:38) Lower back lumber motor broke This motor had to be replaced. 4. (3:04) Passenger Restraint System Failure Warning What the service tech told me was this is just a short cable that throws a code but does NOT stop any safety features from working. 5. (3:47) Autopilot was playing pong in the lanes Autopilot was swaying around in the lanes to where it was practically hitting each side of the lane lines while driving on a road with curves. Fixed in an update. 6. (4:33) Stock 19' sport wheel's tire is terrible and wears down fast When I had the stock 19's the Continental tires wore down extremely fast. 6K miles. 7. (5:08) Sunroof isn't dark enough I have sensitive eyes. The sunroof lets in a bight beam of sunlight (mid-afternoon) which gives me headaches and forces me to wear a hat. I'm not a hat guy lol... 8. (5:42) White Dashboard reflects onto side windows My darker tint causes the white dashboard to reflect onto my side windows right where my mirror is. This makes it so I cannot see out of my mirrors clearly. 9. (6:20) Driver Side window motor broke Whenever I had to roll up my driver window, it would stop midway and roll back down. 10. (7:04) Paint issues Not too many but there were some fisheyes and orange peel that distort the finish. 11. (7:36) The white interior gets stained overtime The reason why I got the white interior is that I was sold on the fact all dirt would wipe off and always look new after cleaning. Well, they stain from jeans. 12. (8:23) Dashcam didn't work well Things wouldn't save right or it would save the wrong clip. I also dealt with corrupted saves. Fixed in an update. 13. (8:51) Back windows don't roll all the way down 14. (9:29) Seat can get uncomfortable during long drives The location of the seat compared to the pedals are in a weird location that causes me knee pain. 15. Software Glitches in new updates One of these weird issues was my charge port would not let the charger out AND wouldn't let the car charge. Also, a bunch of error codes came up. I waited some time and all of the problems went away. Subscribe!
