A 3 week edition of Monday News. And still managed to keep it short. Thanks for watching! Hello world! Welcome to a 3 week update of Monday News, from Piksilburg. Lets dive right in. Are first story tonight. Taken er easy. With Piksilburg being released, I have been taking it easy and hooking up anyone who reaches out, and asks me about it going on a tour. And of course,when time zones have lined up. So far the response has been phenomenal with only 2 un happy people. I can’t please everyone, but I think Activison released a game last fall that might be to their liking.…In any case soon enough I’ll start merge glitching, But all in good time. I’d really like to give it a try. I can only build like this for so long. I’m excited to have the ability to put more than 3 pieces together. The possibilities will be truly endless. And I’m sure my build rate will increase not having to find ways to make stuff work. In other news. I have had some side projects in the planing. Some rebuilds I can do within in the realm of my capabilities, and an original outdoor park in the mix too. I just want to put my efforts into the city to help fill it out and help give it that new city smell. Although 2 special projects will be out this week. Get your flick on! At this juncture id like to reach out to anyone on the playstation side. Id like to put together a film part for Piksilburg. This is where you come in. message me and come out and grab piksilburg. find some spots that speak to you, and get some lines down. we’ll meet up on a day or night that works for you and skate and film. I’m looking for people who like to go for realism in there lines, plan em out and rarely “winging it”. I’m looking for 5 dude or dudettes who wanna get in on this, but if there is more then that I’m sure we can make it work. So fire me a message and get in on some realistic filming action, see one of my other video parts to get an idea, then come on out and have some fun, get some film and and get you featured in the next skate part. And in more related piksilburg news: The Old Park. I have completed the latest section of piksilburg, If you haven’t already seen the tour. Street skating with little to no DIY with some fun backstory. And just out of the way from the prying eyes of the public. A great place for spots for that up coming film part… And another spot that should also be out this week. City Hall! Located just behind the park. You can even see a familiar tree line.. And finally. Tonights special Interest piece Special Interest pieces? Should they be a thing of Monday News? I personally have always been a fan the news. Kinda happens growing up with only 4 channels. And later on in life when living in the city, shows like, the daily show, the Colbert report and last week tonite, to name a few. The latter of which are your classic definition of “fake news”. I like how they have had the courage to tackle tough topics, like fighting countless years for the Zadroga Act known as the 9/11 first responders bill, openly mocking Bill O’Reilly for years and with good reason, Fifa corruption and Net neutrality. Id like for the news to be about that….. News…but in regards to skateboarding and the channel as a whole. Its these special interest pieces where i was hoping to tackle some of the taboos of the skate world and even the skate 3 world. From Nike to 2 faced racism online to tricklining. and everything in between. including a cracker sponsorship .To open up a dialogue and see if theres a way to move forward as a community. Its not about being right or wrong, but about having the courage to talk about old and new topics regarding the community as a whole. Its not something that has to be done, but some thing id like to do, But only if you, my viewers want to go down this road together. And I know, so far there has been one piece in general that got a little dark. And i wasn’t trying to offend, or step on toes. But point out that what happened was wrong, it shouldn’t have happened but it did. And I didn’t exactly see anyone stepping to say “Hey, I think that guy stole an idea from you and didn’t give you proper credit”. In fact quite the opposite, of getting told not to speak up when something wrong had taken place. I’m sorry, I’m not a fan of getting bent over. Sure I’m Canadian and have patience and understanding but at a certain point we do get aggravated and say some real shit that you might not like. It can be even worse when we start pulling facts and citing sources. In any case. I’d like to keep up with the special interest pieces. but only if there is a special interest.
