Texas All Water Fishing's video: BIG Black Drum Fishing AKA Big Ugly with Cody Dunn and Kids in Galveston Texas

I went out to volunteer with Cpt Cody Dunn at Sea Star Base Galveston for their youth fishing program he runs there. Normally we teach kids to fish from their docks but today was special treat, we were taking a couple kids to fish from their boat. The weather was very foggy so we played it safe and fished near boat put in; plus it wasn't as foggy in that area. We started the trip out fishing for flounder and after only small sand trout & croaker we changed it up. Originally we planned on fishing the jetty for black drum (big ugly) or reds so we were rigged for those as well. We went to find deeper water and stronger currents in the same area we were already in. With the last 5 minutes of soaking some crab we hooked into a solid black drum. We had a blast it was so much fun watch the kids reel in some fish and tons of fun watching a young man bring in his personal best fish.
