@1st Solo Backpacking Trip - LBJ National Grasslands

Craig took his first solo backpacking trip to the LBJ National Grasslands near Decatur, Texas. His trip included one night with 1.5 days of hiking which included about 18 miles. This area has over 70 miles of trails and although everything we saw said it was flat….it is not. No serious ascends, but lots of rolling hills. Very nice hike and recommended.
