We spent 2 days and one night on the Butterfield Hiking Trail at Devils Den State Park in Arkansas. This is an awesome trail, but by no means an easy walk in the woods. This trail will test your endurance for up and down hiking all day. The only technical piece of this trail that is challenging would be the waterfall. You will climb up the waterfall if you are going clockwise and down if you are going counter clockwise. This is a beautiful trail with a lot to offer. There are beautiful water views with beautiful camp sites. The trail is advertised as 14.4 miles; however, our Garmin Explorer + and our fitbits clocked it at 18.2 miles. So, plan for it to be a little longer than expected. Thanks so much for watching!!
