That's Chelsea's video: Oven Fried Okra

@Oven Fried Okra
Okra helps naturally reduce cholesterol, improves eyesight, and is great for digestion. It’s also rich in vitamin C, A, and magnesium. I picked up a quart at a local farmer’s market for $2.99. What You Need: 1 lb organic okra 3 garlic cloves 1/2-1 cup chickpea flour (garbanzo bean flour) 1-2 tsp avocado oil (you don’t need a lot because of the okra mucilage) 2 tsp, turmeric 2 tsp, Himalayan pink salt 2 tsp, ground cumin 1/2 tsp, chili powder Instructions: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Wash your okra. Remove tops and bottoms and cut lengthwise into thin strips. The thinner, the better. Combine the avocado oil and garlic. I prefer to use avocado oil because the smoke point is 490 degrees. Massage into okra. Next, mix your chickpea flour and remaining spices. Coat okra and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes or until crispy. Finish with pink salt and a squirt of fresh lime juice to taste. ------------------------------- CONNECT WITH ME Blog: http://thatschelsea.com Instagram: @ThatsChelsea https://www.instagram.com/thatschelsea/ Twitter: @HiThatsChelsea https://twitter.com/hithatschelsea Facebook: @ThatsChelsea https://www.facebook.com/ThatsChelsea/ ------------------------------- For business inquiries please send a message to hello (at) thatschelsea (dot) com ------------------------------- Video by Will Power Photos http://willpowerphotos.net
