That Sodding Gamer's video: Ancestors - The Humankind Odyssey Gameplay

Grabbed this game when it released on Steam after a year of EGS exclusivity (didn't realize that at first, hence my slight confusion about its release at the beginning of the vid). I'm not super keen on realism and survivor sims (I play some, but not a lot). It's currently available on Steam, Epic Game Store, and on both the PSN and XBL stores. Doesn't seem to have a physical edition for any platform, at least not on a retail level. Until the store updates on September 10, 2020 the game is 50% off on Steam. I think it's the only platform it's currently discounted on. Though the full price for the Game+Soundtrack bundle on EGS is a couple bucks cheaper than the normal price for the same bundle on Steam. Odd because both the base game and the soundtrack as separate DLC have the same prices on both Steam and EGS. Seems you start out in ape-like form as a sort of proto-hominid species, around 10M B.C.E. This is supposed to be the first volume in a trilogy, though it's not clear just how far you'll be able to progress by the end of the final game. If you like this sort of gameplay, it's probably a good option. If you get it, try to play less cavalier with the life of your characters than I do, eh?
