My friend Hamish Hoyle invited me to Druim Caladh to get involved with his awesome land project, along with his Mother Tessa Gordziejko & his brother Rory, they chipped it to look after this magical land. Such a fantastic weekend! Me & my exquisitely wonderful girlfriend & life partner Sherel consider it our first date! We met an amazing bunch of people & planted baby Oak trees in the Winter sunshine. Tessa wants to create a place for people to have necessary conversations about the future of our world, she likes to think that we can be optimistic about our place within the world which is coming, but not to be deluded & think that it is going to be easy, we are aware that alot of the human race are sick & detached from nature, they don't care about our planet & all the amazing life of it, they only think about themselves & their bank accounts. We can't change the world overnight but we can save little pockets of it & piece by piece connect it back together. There are so many creative positive solutions to the problems in the world & Druim Caladh is a place to help manifest these solutions, starting by weaving into the local community & bringing the right people together to connect with the nature of the land.
