The Analog Archive's video: Gabby: King for a Day 16mm Film Transfer

@Gabby: King for a Day (16mm Film Transfer)
16mm copy of the public domain short "King for a Day." Video transfer was done using my Eiki projector, screening onto the Azden Transfer-It device, picked up by an RCA VHS camcorder and from there going into Movavi video capture software. The audio line went straight from the projector to the computer. The Azden unit is a film transfer device from the 1980s. These old converters don't work well with many modern camcorders because they require an adjustable framerate, which for some reason is not standard on entry level camcorders anymore. The video has to be recorded at 24 frames per second to (ideally) eliminate flicker. In this case, the projector is not outputting a perfect 24FPS so there is still some flicker.
