I volunteer for a medical charity which supports rural clinical officers in Zambia with medical advice from Doctor volunteers in the UK using a purpose-built app. The clinical director and I are trying to make some educational podcasts for the clinical officers and felt that co-hosting would keep the listening parties’ interested. However, we are unable to be in the same place and are using Skype. How would you recommend recording this and any pointers on avoiding tinny sounding voices! * Clare: We’d be interviewing a person or two at a time, but editing it down into a bite-sized conversation. Are there organizations that can take the raw footage and edit? And is there a way to do such interviews over the phone and still maintain good quality? * Shane Whaley: How can I improve my Adobe audition skills? Are there any courses you recommend? * Shannon Irvine: How to get people to want to interview me. I'm getting amazing interviews but I need exposure on others podcasts. * Jeannie Hopper: Thoughts on metrics to include not only download stats but also listening stats from listeners who did not 'officially' subscribe. Combining these stats creates greater value for potential sponsors. Demographics show younger listeners download/subscribe, older listeners listen via the app where they access the podcast and/or iTunes player on phone or computer. FYI. in FeedBurner stats it's under the stat 'hits = plays' aka listens * Vildana: Can we convert a Facebook Live video to a podcast?
