The Audiofool always believed that the best pre-amp is no pre-amp, and so the Freya+ was perfect as it has a passive mode with minimal electronics. The Drop THX 789 does have THX Acromatic Audio Amplifier technology which reduces distortion significantly, so the Audiofool tries it out as a pre-amp, and sees if the cleaned up sound would be better than the original non-modified sound. Also compared to the Schiit Ragnarok and Magni 3 as a headphone amp in the vid.
