The Bearded Gamer's video: Anthem Sustain Ranger Build Grandmaster 3 capable Pre-Cataclysm

Although I normally keep changing up my build, I've stuck with this one for the Ranger for a while now because it offers a nice combination of damage/sustain. It's very powerful in solo situations as well as groups. Obviously since stats on gear are randomly generated you won't have the exact same build even with the same items. The perks are the same though, so it's up to you to pick useful stats. Here are the stats that we get from this build : Total armor/shields gained from components : Armor : 12170 (14725.7 with buffs from items) Shields : 14034 (14034 no shield buffs. Obviously, for this build, the more shields the better.) Nice to haves - AOE Primer (from Inferno Grenade) - Single target Detonator (from Seeking Missile) Perks from gear - Radiant fortress (Shotgun) : Hitting 8 shots in a single burst recharges shields by 35% - Elemental Rage (Assault Rifle) : Hitting Elite enemies increases all elemental damage by 5% for 10 seconds. Stacks to 20. - Victor's Resolve (Component) : Performing a small multi-hit (2) instantly restores 25% of maximum armor. - Elemental Ops (Component) : Increases fire damage and max heat capacity by 50%, and fire resistance by 50%. On a hit streak (5), applies acid to the target. - Vanguard's Badge (Component) : Performing a melee hit restores 40% shields. - Tip of the Spear (Component) : Perfoming a combo restores 40% armor to nearby allies. - Softened Blows (Component) : Increases damage resistance by 75% for 5 seconds when shields run out.
