Even though new projects are coming into crypto every week, Bitcoin dominance is at 65%, levels not seen since April 2017. Bitcoin is swallowing the market whole. But is this warranted? Or is this just part of a larger macro ETH now trades at 0.024, when it was previously at 0.14, 7X away from it's ATH. Needless to say, most altcoins will not reach their ATH again, as this time around a) people are smarter b) people are ready to offload the bags they've been holding for over a year at a much more lower rate than the previous ATH. Only two cryptocurrencies in the world have been deemed legally "not securities" by the SEC, Bitcoin and Ethereum. With SEC crackdowns on Binance and other platforms, having this accreditation may very well be a major factor in the ease of adoption through accessible on/off ramps.
