Pat them dry with paper towels. * Add the asparagus spears to a large bowl and spray them with the cooking spray. Add the lemon juice, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Toss very well to coat. * Arrange the asparagus spears in a single layer in your air fryer, being careful to not over-crowd them. You might have to air fry in two batches. * Add 1/4 cup water at the bottom of your Air Fryer. If you don’t add the water, the asparagus will dry out and become brown and crispy. With the addition of the water, the asparagus will be bright green, tender and slightly browned and crisp on top. * Air fry at 375 F (190 C) for 5-7 minutes. Please keep in mind that the timing depends on your Air Fryer, how crowded your basket/tray is and how well done you prefer your asparagus. * Our favourite way to eat this asparagus is while it's still vibrant green, with a moist stem, a bit of a bite and a little browning on top. If you're not happy with how cooked your asparagus is after 5 minutes, shake your basket/tray and give it another minute or two. * Serve hot with some butter on top, if desired (optional). Notes Storage Instructions This asparagus will keep well in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 5 days. Reheating Instructions Place your asparagus in your Air Fryer . Add 1/3 cup of water on the bottom of your Air Fryer and run it at 350 F (175 C) for 3-5 minutes shaking the basket/tray halfway. How to Cook Frozen Asparagus in the Air Fryer * Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). * Don’t thaw your frozen asparagus at all. If there’s excess ice buildup on your asparagus rinse them under water and dry them with paper towels. * Add the asparagus to a bowl and mix with the oil spray and spices. * Do not add water to the Air Fryer basket. * Place in the Air Fryer basket/tray and air fry at 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes. * Remove and shake well. Air fry again for another 4-7 minutes. 🥣 KITCHEN TOOLS USED IN THIS RECIPE: Kitchen Tongs: https://amzn.to/3vHL4us Roasting Pan: https://amzn.to/3N0duIS Air Fryer: https://amzn.to/45XscsE 💎ALL-TIME FAVOURITES: Instant Pot Duo 6QT: https://amzn.to/3rHNlG8 Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer: https://amzn.to/3oKW34p Le Creuset Dutch Oven Pot: https://amzn.to/3rMrMnY Cast Iron Skillet: https://amzn.to/3rIUOEI Baking Sheet Pan: https://amzn.to/3uGND1X Springform Cake Tin: https://amzn.to/3rMtg1w Cutting Board Set: https://amzn.to/3sDWmzh Mixing Bowl Set: https://amzn.to/3LG4rwb Balloon Whisk: https://amzn.to/3rJU2r3 Spatula Set: https://amzn.to/3oIyTvJ Garlic Press: https://amzn.to/3rMt6XY Instant Read Thermometer: https://amzn.to/3BeC1Vb OUR FAVOURITE KITCHEN ITEMS & PROPS: ♥️ Kitchen towels: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ForestlandLinen https://www.etsy.com/shop/MagicLinen https://greengatehome.com/ ♥️ Backdrops: https://www.etsy.com/shop/InkAndElm ♥️ Dishes & Ceramics: https://blop.ro https://www.etsy.com/shop/AnnaBelleCeramics ♥️ Cookware and props: https://www.riess-markenshop.de/en https://www.falconenamelware.com/ https://lecreuset.com https://www.denbypottery.com/cast-iron https://amzn.to/3uLkPp4 ♥️ Shop my Amazon Store (with ALL my favourite kitchen products!) https://www.amazon.com/shop/thebusybakerblog 📷 OUR PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY GEAR: Canon 90D: https://amzn.to/3HfcU6G Canon 6D Mark II: https://amzn.to/3uidzR1 50mm Lens: https://amzn.to/3GiwAVW Photography lens: https://amzn.to/3uiDQis Video/Photography lens: https://amzn.to/3Hj10sl Tripod: https://amzn.to/3419mXy Light stand: https://amzn.to/3ocDaab Video/photography light: https://amzn.to/3gcxvwy Softbox: https://amzn.to/3AOJ0nj **The Busy Baker is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.**
