The Col Collective's video: Behind the Ride with Dan Craven

Having the chance to sit down with Dan Craven AKA "Dan from Nam" was far too good an opportunity to miss. I was intrigued to find out exactly how a guy from Namibia ended up on the 4th floor of an apartment in Girona racing for Israel Cycling Academy, one of the youngest pro continental teams on the block. As with every good journey there's a whole lot more to it than what may appear on the surface as we dig deeper into Dan's past, from domestic racing to two years in the world tour with Europcar and, of course, I couldn't leave without unpacking Dan's amazing 2016 Rio Olympic experience where he appeared to be live tweeting during the road race before things took an even bigger (and unexpected) turn as he found himself on the start ramp of the individual time trial just days later.........on his road bike!
