Today we show you how to make a gin martini with dry vermouth. This can also be called a dry martini or just a "martini" because the original historic martini should be a gin based cocktail. You can make a dry martini at home, or at the bar as a bartender, that is up to you because it's an easy gin martini recipe. This is a recipe every bartender should know, it's bartending 101 in our book. As a bartender you will be asked to make a martini, often with gin or sometimes with vodka (just swap the vodka for gin in this recipe). For those making a gin martini at home, it's easy and doesn't require a ton of ingredients.
