Paga is known for its sacred crocodile ponds There many crocodiles in the Paga pond and crocodile meat is forbidden. There are many oral traditions related to the scared pond at Paga and it's Paga's inhabitants. In essence the crocodile is considered scared in paga and some of the people in Paga are connected spiritually to the crocodiles.
