@BEST PAN SEARED MAHI MAHI HOW TO PAN FRY FISH EASY FISH RECIPE WITH BUTTERY CAULIFLOWER
In this video recipe I present HOW to Pan FRY MAHI MAHI FISH with a BUTTERY sauce and low carb cauliflower rice. For more zesty taste I added fresh lemon juice. This white fish recipe is easy to cook. If you want it less fatty you can always adjust amount of butter. Mahi-mahi is a white fish, but much firmer than other white fish like halibut or cod. Very similar to other speed predators like swordfish or wahoo/ono. It’s also a very forgiving fish to cook, as it’s harder to overcook than many other fish. Searing (or pan searing) is a technique used in grilling, baking, braising, roasting, sautéing, etc., in which the surface of the food (usually meat: beef, poultry, pork, seafood) is cooked at high temperature until a browned crust forms. Similar techniques, browning and blackening, are typically used to sear all sides of a particular piece of meat, fish, poultry, etc. before finishing it in the oven. To obtain the desired brown or black crust, the meat surface must exceed 150 °C (300 °F), so searing requires the meat surface be free of water, which boils at around 100 °C (212 °F). Although often said to "lock in the moisture" or "seal in the juices", searing has been demonstrated to result in a greater net loss of moisture versus cooking to the same internal temperature without first searing. Nonetheless, it remains an essential technique in cooking meat for several reasons: - The browning creates desirable flavors through the Maillard reaction. - The appearance of the food is usually improved with a well-browned crust. The contrast in taste and texture between the crust and the interior makes the food more interesting to the palate ****Here is the equipment and ingredients that I used for this video: **MAHI MAHI FISH: https://amzn.to/3xq274N **CAST IRON SKILLET: https://amzn.to/36hLXP3 **CAULIFLOWER RICE: https://amzn.to/2Uxszeg **HIMALAYAN PINK SALT: https://amzn.to/3hmuaMM **GARLIC POWDER: https://amzn.to/3qTkXi2 **BLACK PEPPER: https://amzn.to/2SURKXH **BUTTER: https://amzn.to/3jPMFel **COCONUT OIL: https://amzn.to/3AFgxjh **For all my water needs I use this system: https://amzn.to/2HlvOgg **Camera: https://amzn.to/2n15srN If you enjoyed this recipe please like, comment and subscribe.
