When it comes to food wastage, most moms are naturally efficient in not wasting their home cooked food and turning excess food into light snack or next meal. Whenever we have some adequate amount of gravy left, we make sure to turn it into our favourite parathas. Ingredients: 1-2 cups leftover gravy or sabji 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil to knead and shallow fry Method: 1. In a kneading bowl, take leftover gravy or sabji. Make sure that the gravy is at room temperature and not refrigerated or cold. 2. Add whole wheat flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, oil to knead and knead the mixture into a fine dough 3. Roll the dough into chapatis and shallow fry them on medium flame Enjoy hot parathas preventing food wastage along with tea or as a light dinner.
