O neglectful ones لا يبلغ الناس العلا People will not attain the high ranks وهم كسالى نائمون When they are lazy and sleeping فالجنة العليا لمن The lofty Paradise is granted هم للمعالي طالبون To those who seek the high ranks القائمون الليل تقوى Those who stay up in the night doing good المؤمنون المخلصون The sincere believers الصائمون نهارهم Those who fast in the day ولربهم هم خاشعون And they fear their Lord هذا نداء الراحلين This is the call of the departing لكم و أنتم راحلون A call for you as you depart يا لاحقون غدًا لكم O you who shall follow, you shall receive مثل الذي للسابقين What your predecessors have received آباؤكم رهن القبور Your forefathers are destined to die متى متى تستيقظون When will you wake up? ماتوا بآجال و أنتم They died when their time came عن قريب ميتون And you shall soon die!
