The Indoor Garden TV Show's video: Please Be Kind to Houseplants in Public Spaces

This clip is from an episode of the "The Indoor Garden" TV series and was made in 1991, a time when smoking was allowed indoors! Bob B. Green of the fictitious SPCMIAA, waxes on the importance of respect and appreciation for our living and air-cleaning friends that live in shopping malls. This is a light-hearted segment that was a lot of fun to make. The idea for this clip came from Liz's experience of occasionally finding damaged plants at this mall. For a few years, she took care of all the indoor plant maintenance there. This YouTube clip shows a damaged plant, an Aglaonema 'Maria. She found it there one day and demonstrates how to restore it in another Indoor Garden TV show clip: https://youtu.be/Bdy1TJ_x7Y4 This was videotaped in the early 1990's at White Flint Mall in Rockville, MD. The mall is now out of business and will be replaced with a mix of retail stores and residences. Jim Epstein played Bob B. Green. He is a great personal friend and actor. His adopted children are featured in the episode. He currently resides in Silver Spring, MD and acts in local plays and television shows.
