In this clip, from "The Indoor Garden" 90's television series, Liz demonstrates how to cut back a philodendron in a hanging basket. Some of the vines should be cut back, from time to time, a little or a lot, depending on their condition, or else they become unsightly. Even the most disparaging-looking and unkempt vining plant can be restored to a healthy beauty like the Nephtytis here.
