The International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases's video: Dengue transmission and risks to Europe

@Dengue transmission and risks to Europe
In this presentation, Dr Ted Tsai (VP Immunizations Science and Policy, Takeda) introduces the mosquito-borne disease dengue, its alarming spread over the last decades and the threat posed to previously non-endemic regions, including Europe and the UK. This presentation was recorded ahead of World Dengue Day 2023 as part of the session at the UK Parliament "The arboviral threat: a growing hazard in an uncertain world", co-hosted by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases and the International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases. This session looks at the growing threat of arboviral diseases such as dengue and chikungunya, the responses and collaborations urgently needed for those regions experiencing explosive outbreaks as well as the risks and roles for non-endemic countries.
