The Last Hungry Cat's video: Route 189 - Oxford Circus - Brent Cross

Route 189 - Operated by Metroline - Cricklewood Garage (W) Bus: TEH1238 I had an afternoon off so I decided to record a few time lapses between lunch with family. This is the first of the three. I realise that this was started from the second stop. Oops. The bus was heading out as soon as I made it onto Oxford Street. Let's not be too pedantic. Amongst many rumors of it converting to New Routemaster operation, or it being withdrawn, or it being extended to Waterloo, here is the route as it is today. Every time I have taken this route it was quite quiet, but then again I never have taken it during peak hours. The bus route took just under 45 minutes, excellently driven by the bus driver - quick enough that I didn't have to split recordings. For some reason the video gets gradually paler as it goes on, and I have no idea why. Just enjoy it how it is, I guess.
