On 1/27, I decided to initially spend the day at Stony Brook, only to catch (despite being a little backlit), miss due to an errand, and to see that all the other trains were delayed because the Port Jefferson branch was suspended east of Stony Brook due to an oversized vehicle striking a bridge. On the bright side, I did meet up with Eric Shu before I left.
