Current policy allows LDS bishops to have one-on-one interviews with minors in which they discuss the child's sexual activities in detail. This can be very traumatizing for children, who often don't know what they are being asked, and who feel deep shame and embarrassment if they do know. This policy also facilitates grooming and sexual abuse by predators who become bishops. We call upon LDS leaders to reform this policy for the protection of children and bishops alike.
